Our Wish
For an Issue Book, this was pretty good. It normalizes homelessness, in particular families who find themselves homeless and afraid. I think the experience of the Bun E. Rabbit family is idealized inasmuch as they spend a short time at a shelter and find a new home in short order, as do all of the other homeless animals they meet at the shelter. Still, I teared up more than once.
