I'm sticking with "meh" as a review. I think I'd have liked it better If I'd not read so much fantasy. I kept losing track of the narrative as I was watching bits of homage waltz by. Ultimately, the thing that kept me from liking this book was the constant feeling of it saying "Look! I'm so clever!" over and over. The illustrations were nice. And to be fair, it IS clever. It's just too, too.
